Marine Grade Stainless Steel

QTOO are manufactured in marine grade solid stainless steel. Stainless steel is authentic and extremely durable. With a minimum of maintenance QTOO will last you a life time.
Stainless steel is a recyclable material and thus environmentally friendly. Furthermore stainless steel guarantees cleaner water by being lead free and through the extraordinary low content of heavy metals.

QTOO has been certified according to the Danish GDV certification, which secures extraordinary clean drinking water.

Safety

QTOO multi adjustable roughs are manufactured in stainless steel and has no pre-assembled connections which could present a leaking risk.

All faucets leaving the production have been tested at 215 psi pressure.

Maintenance of Stainless Steel

Stainless steel is well known for the following two properties; low maintenance requirements and very high resistance to corrosion.

The resistance to corrosion is due to a thin, durable layer of passive but stable chromium oxide. This layer is inert, invisible, extremely adherent and repairs itself, so the steel is protected well.

If the layer is damaged or removed, it is automatically restored provided the oxygen in the atmosphere can react with the steel chrome content. It is therefore necessary to ensure regular cleaning.

Cleaning

You start by washing the surface with soapy water or a mild detergent. Then always remember to rinse with clean cold water.
And finally dry / polish the surface with a soft, dry cloth.

Discoloration

If there are stains on the surface, it is not caused by the stainless steel, but impurities in the water, the air or cleaning products, which have not been thoroughly removed from the surface.

If there is discoloration or stains it can be removed with a polishing agent for stainless steel.

Also as a final step rinse thoroughly with clean cold water, and dry / polish the surface with a soft, dry cloth.
